There is a lot of confusion in the Alexander world about so-called different styles of teaching. Every Alexander Teacher should strive to be themselves, and not to imitate another teacher. It does not matter how far apart a pupil has their feet. It is unimportant what angle of tilt a person adopts from the hip joint. These details or forms are simply the variations of positional advantage. They can vary depending on the different capacities of the pupil. Essentially they are stimuli. What is of ultimate importance is the content, ie the use that is maintained within the form.
